About Second Sight
Combining an atmospheric, psychological thriller narrative with paranormal psychic abilities, stealthy exploration and intense shooter action, Second Sight brings a new dimension to stealth action games, giving players control of a character endowed with incredible psychic abilities. The game offers multiple approaches to completing levels either via stealth, dramatic gunplay, psychic powers or a combination of all three. The ability to psychically influence characters and remotely manipulate objects and individuals provides for a totally fresh gameplay dynamic.
Second Sight opens with John Vattic, the player-controlled lead character, as he awakens from a coma in a US medical facility where he has been subjected to traumatic surgery and experimentation. He doesn't know his name, he can't remember his past, all he knows is that his only hope for survival is to escape and unravel the mystery that has led to his imprisonment.

For how cheap this game goes for on sale, Second Sight is worth it. Good enough acting, expressive characters, a compelling story, a nice artstyle, and a satisfying plot that doesn't go on for longer than it needs to. Best of all is the gameplay. Access to a fun multitude of powers as you go through the game with John Vattic, the main character. In a lot of aspects it still holds up. My only problems were the cutscene/audio issues where cutscenes would cut off too quickly and the audio would be out of the sync. An issue that especially frustrated me was not being able to close the game and pick up where you left off. You have to finish a level and only get checkpoints in the same session. Whenever you close it, you start from the beginning of the mission each time. Thankfully, chapters aren't painfully tedious and usually last up to an hour each at most. 7/10.1 found this helpful
Needs a Nightdive remaster.

This deserves a 3 hour long movie
I cannot in good faith recommend this version of this game as at least for me it was near unplayable.
