Have you ever been bored on your desktop drawing selection boxes with no real purpose, but found it fun? Seconds to Square is a momentum-based action-platformer that takes this motion and turns it into a time manipulation mechanic!
Drawing boxes in Seconds to Square works exactly like selecting folders on your desktop! Draw a fast box by left clicking to augment your run speed and jump height or draw a slow box by right clicking to dodge projectiles!
The goal of Seconds to Square is to race against the clock as you draw boxes using left and right clicks to speed up or slow down time.

Seconds to Square is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. This abandoned Early Access platformer had a mobile-esque gimmick where you draw a box to stop time, thus helping avoid hazards/solve some puzzle platformer problems. Nobody was really interested. Platforming is an old, mostly dead genre, and this lacklustre experience, while it doesn't have an upfront cost, isn't saving the genre... it's no surprise this failed to capture any attention from gamers in the era of immersive 3D gaming. The developers abandoned this 7 years and 8 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. On the topic of visuals, the weak looking 2D retro assets seem like they'd be more at home in a browser game or a mobile app. 3D graphics accelerators hit the mainstream of PC gaming in the mid 1990's with cards like the ATI Rage and Voodoo3D, …1 found this helpful

Геймплей увлекателен, но требует внимательности и стратегического мышления. Графика минималистична, но атмосфера мрачная и напряжённая. Звуковая сопровождение добавляет напряжения. Минус — некоторые уровни слишком сложны, а инструкция недостаточно чёткая. Подойдёт фанатам интеллектуальных игр.
