I thought, "It's just a square. How hard could it be?" The square humbled me. This game has one button. One. Somehow I still managed to mess it up. You jump, avoid obstacles, collect diamonds, and try to survive while the game keeps inventing new ways to ruin your day. Every run starts with confidence and ends with me saying, "Okay... that one wasn't my fault." Narrator: It was. The procedurally generated levels keep things fresh, and the instant restarts make it dangerously addictive. Every death feels like you were this close to beating your high score, so naturally you hit "Retry" for the next 30 minutes. Simple concept, great soundtrack, surprisingly challenging, and way more fun than a game called Square has any right to be. Who knew a square could have such a personal vendetta against me?
