I think this game is abandoned. Edit: the dev put out a statement saying the game isn't abandoned and he's still developing it, that's good news but I'm cautiously optimistic. Even a couple of minor bug fix patches over the year span since the last update would show us the game still has life. So while I do appreciate the dev commenting we will have to wait and see and I can't recommend anyone buy the game until we actually see some updates. I wish the dev luck and hope updates do come because the game has promise.1 found this helpful
As per a lot of the other reviews this one is SUPER early access and you can definitely plenty of rough edges, but.... if the Dev can pull this together it has the makings of a real cracking game. Some brilliant mechanics, great setting and cool vibe. With so many cookie cutter ARPGs around, Seven Cities feels like it has shot to really stand out and be something pretty special.1 found this helpful
Game is in early access but it already has a big potential. Moreover the environment is very refreshing and change from other H&S. Indeed this one takes place in New York in modern era with guns, pistols,etc.. (and not Dark Fantasy as others H&S) ! Very fun hack and slash. I recommend to have a look on it !1 found this helpful

It is a big yes for me, the game is refreshing for the genre, many good ideas. Game-play loop is solid and the scenery is very nice. It is still an E.A. so of course there is still some work to be done. I will keep an eye on next updates..
