As you adventure into the world you play as Shade Silver, A wizard of sorts trying to traverse a dangerous land and pay ogres enough to move on. Finding new secrets around every corner, collecting pearls to unlock new secret levels, The Game Shade Silver is done in a glow in the dark style, with plenty of settings to change the look of the game. Glow stones litter the ground for atmosphere, there are around 100 songs that randomly play. 3 different ending screens all saying something unique and fun. There is a score and points, Keys to collect, Treasure to collect, Hearts to unlock, Pearls to collect, Hrs of play, Hrs of fun, See what you may discover in a world of Danger and secrets and have as much fun as possible. The game will most likely get many updates as I learn what players like and make new fun to be had.

The idea is there, but both the UI and the font choice feel annoying after actually playing the game. The difficulty gap between the tutorial and the first level is somewhat massive, but it may be fine if you're into difficult games. Honestly, I find it is average among free to keep games on Steam. However, as a paid game, it's likely only for very few people who can overlook its issues.
Because I have paid the 5 dollar paywall and reminded myself about this, it's time to go from discussions to the "front" page.
This is a really in-depth review of the game. The game all on itself is pretty interesting, yes there are some bad level designs here and there, but the deal breaker for me was the fact that the level select doesn't let you select levels to play, it just shows you on what levels you have got the pearls, and that is what made me create this review (Skip to the end if you don't want to read all) But let's go to when you start the game: when you press the button "new game", it changes the screen and it doesn't show you what to do; at first you think it's loading, but after you wait some minutes, you know something is wrong. I had to go to the tutorial section, thinking it would put me in the tutorial, but it just showed me what buttons I can press to do stuff. -1 point for not going to the tutorial. After you press enter tho, the controls appear AGAIN, like you didn't need to search the controls to find the buttons. -1 point for that happening. But when you press enter again, a new page full of text in a hard-to-read font, which yeah and aspect of…

Has a dedicated tutorial button in the menu which I played through. I start a new game which then forces you to play the tutorial again to actually play the game? Annoying but okay at least I know how the game works right? Get near the end of the first level, fairly easy. Introduces a random enemy that quickly chases you down and kills you when you collect the "pearl" the game didn't mention in the tutorial. What's your deal dog?

Boring, ugly, and repetitive. The 'glow in the dark' style looks messy, not cool. Same traps, same enemies for 80+ levels. Zero story, clunky controls. Feels like a student project. Even on sale - not worth it.
