About Silent Hope
One day, a terrible calamity struck a peaceful kingdom. In the chaos that followed, the people began to deceive and backstab each other. Their King used his powerful magic to steal away people’s ability to speak and hurled himself into the Abyss. His daughter, the Princess, cried an endless flood of tears until they encased her in a giant crystal teardrop.
Many years after these events faded to memory, seven rainbow-colored lights flew from the Abyss. These rays of hope appeared before the Princess manifesting themselves as seven heroes, ready to answer the Princess' call for help. Why did the King abandon his daughter and his people? And why did he steal their ability to speak?
Choose from a motley crew of characters like the well-rounded Wanderer, long-range specialist Archer, or heavy-hitting Warrior to find whose skills suit your playstyle, and embrace new roles and abilities as you gain more experience. Use crystals found throughout the Abyss to switch characters or return to Base Camp.
Find new recipes and materials and return to your Base Camp at the edge of The Abyss, where each character has a unique job. From alchemist to blacksmith to cook, each hero brings something different.
Experience a new layout each time you enter the enigmatic Abyss, keeping you on your toes every moment you explore, and look out for Memory Rifts, where greater rewards -- and challenges -- await.
The Princess narrates each step of your journey, giving the feeling of a fairy tale come to life -- right down to the dark mysteries waiting to be uncovered in the visually stunning underworld.

I absolutely loved this little game, it feels like a mix of made in abyss and torchlight, bc its an arpg with several classes and special attacks, with fast, dynamic and addictive combat, but at the same time it takes place entirely inside a dungeon with multiple floors. the deeper you go into the depths, the more challenges and difficult bosses you find, but theres always changes in creatures, ingredients, loot, environments and music depending on which layers you reach, just like in made in abyss. mixing these two amazing games couldnt possibly have a bad result, and i really loved completing the campaign and even the two extra endgame layers after finishing the story. everything is super cute and creative, while also providing a challenging roguelike experience in the sense that if you die before reaching a checkpoint, you have to replay the floors without your progress being saved. if you want to focus more on the adventure, fun and exploration, using wemod can help, otherwise progression becomes much slower and youll need to grind equipment and exp to reach the deepest floor and defeat the final boss. so its up to you how you want to play and what you enjoy the most!!29 found this helpful
Not super far but the game is super boring for me. Non-boss enemies have a single attack, each playable character has a small attack combo (like 2-3 hits depending on character) and they have 3 skill slots which are just use cooldowns. Each of the characters has 2 alt "classes" you can unlock but they just increase stats and allow you to get the skills from their list of 3 (total of 9 skill options per character but other than being a buff or a better source of damage they don't change gameplay variety enough to feel fresh). Everything else you do in the game is just getting drops for stats go up equipment which doesn't change gameplay. And everything isn't hard, bosses are almost good as they have actual mechanics you need to do in their fights but they are super bullet spongey in their health bars. The rest of the enemies though are only a threat when a bunch are dumped on you at once and you can get boxed in. If you kite and dodge rite almost nothing can really kill you. The game isn't hard and basically feels like it's designed for mobile with how limited the controls are and the view. Luckily I got it on a 70% discount because it's really not worth it's base price. I'd reco…1 found this helpful
Normally I never give bad review.(I simply don't do review if the game bad) but This is the game where you think it would be fun rouge-like game. You think it would be kinda fun to mindlessly grind. Until you get bored of the same enemy with "different color" over and over. The story doesn't make any sense even in the beginning. even small game like Cuisineer is more fun and more thing to do than this game. The level just give you little more hp. the equipment is everything. there are no mixed build or any fancy game play. just 3 fixed skill from 9 skill tree. some skill too op you can just spam that skill to destroy everything. some class just too useless to even consider fun to play. the hit box is very bad (you think animation hit enemy, it should hit but it does nothing) the range attack aim is unreliable. you faced the enemy but the arrow just fly somewhere else. and much more disappointed useless feature.1 found this helpful
Slow, monotonous... combat just isn't any fun compared to any of the many other isometric roguelikes. Thought maybe there'd be some interesting mechanics around the different classes, but you can just ignore them with little detriment. Even at $8, you should pass.
yes, super fun no thinking game for when you've played to much ttrpgs and need a brain break. BUT DO NOT BUY UNLESS ITS ON SALE.
Good roguelite gameplay with a unique story that sets it apart. The dungeon diving is satisfying and the progression keeps you engaged. There's more to this game than meets the eye.
