About Silver Cats
Once upon a time, the land of Raine was renowned for its jewellery craftsmanship, and its landscapes could impress any visitor. But one day, in the afterlife, a fierce fight broke out between demons for the right to the throne. A rift in the afterlife opened up right in the middle of Raine, causing the entire place to fall into ruin. The rift scourge was so powerful that the surviving inhabitants of the area were forever unable to use normal magic – from then on, they could only wield the magic of demons. Now the Silver Cats guild is trying to restore the world to its former state, and the guild master's son has been chosen as one of those who can restore peace.

Having a lot of fun with this different RPG. Surprised, graphics are weird but adequate and the world lore is nicely fleshed out. The quests are the expected fantasy fare, but hey, came looking for that. I like specially the mechanics of inventory and power progress, so well implemented. You also can zoom to play in 3rd or in 1st person. Have a lot of play ahead yet, with a 64% discount, nice !! Disclosure: 67 y.o. I use Cheat Engine to happily try and finish hundreds of games, so my enjoyment is maxed (for those inclined, all relevant variables are 4 bytes, exact.)5 found this helpful
If you like old school games, if you like atmospheric crafts, unique monsters and unusual worlds, a light spirit of Slavism and something European in one bottle, if you are looking for inspiration in games - this game is for you. As far as I know, this game was +- developed by one person, which I think is unbelievable. of course, there are many ambiguous decisions and compromises in this game, some I like, some complicate the game - but it is unlikely that anyone will be interested in reading about the disadvantages of the game from a person who has played Silver Cats for about 90 hours.(the first run was on the lowest difficulty, the new one will be on the highest - now I want to try a short sword, the first run was with demon magic). I love fantasy with unusual settings, as a person I'm very reserved so it doesn't bother me that this is a single player game (although if it was an MMO RPG it would probably be even better, he-he) I highly recommend the game. Warnings: I want to note that the game has a rather specific balance and often it is necessary to grind, sometimes it is too difficult to craft items and food, and some items just take a very long time to get, digging 1 pc.…4 found this helpful
