It's pretty good. I'd argue that it's somewhat revelutionary but it's basically like Final Fantasy. The Old ones. It has some bits of voice acting here and there but it's not a constant or consistant. Also almost all the collab characters have Japanese Voicelines even if you have all the other voice lines in english. Also be aware that the grind is REAL. The shops won't let you buy anything unless you get the materials for it so yeah enjoy that. The story is pretty alright, typical "World's gonna end unless you do something"1 found this helpful
holy crabs!!!! the BEST game i have ever played in a while!! Highly Recommended. If you miss the golden age of 90s JRPGs, Another Eden is a must play. Written by Chrono Trigger, it delivers a massive, time-traveling singleplayer epic completely free of time gated energy systems or expiring crossover events. While the Steam port can feel a bit unoptimized and the endgame grind gets real, the breathtaking orchestral soundtrack and captivating story make it feel like a premium console game. Just ignore the optional gacha mechanics, enjoy the narrative at your own pace and let the nostalgia wash over you. 9.8/10 Play it for the story, music, and single-player nostalgia. Just treat the gacha elements as an optional extra rather than the main focus.

Chrono Cross Cross Over
Fun old school style JRPG, F2P friendly. The game gives you a lot of gems for the gatcha, and honestly, the only money I've put in is the beginner package that was like 7 bucks. The graphics are great, the story is really good, and there is just sooooo much content to play through. the bad: takes forever when updating, a ridiculously long time. Sometimes, the story can be really "talky" and i've actually just put it on auto and left the computer for a half hour, and come back and the characters are still talking.
