I absolutely have no idea where the story is going and what dialogue options are right...and I still have blast every time! 🤣 This (Hades-like) mix of action rougelike/rougelite/HnS is extremely fun. Although you can only choose between three weapons at the start, combinations of skills, relics, offering, soul fragments, spirits of ancient heroes and generals...literally makes it impossible to have the same playthrough two times. Your builds can take you in any direction (even illogical one) and you will have the blast... especially when by the accident you create some OP build that you have no idea why it functions (nor you will care). Plus, some rules of the world change depending of the type of the moon when you start the gameplay(?). Visuals are really interesting (like mix of porcelain figures and Chinese theater), and music is great (and haunting at the moments). Even though reviews are now showed as mixed, this game actually received a few months ago serious overhaul that made everything more understandable and improved UI, as well as translation. Definitely give it a try, this game will stay installed for occasional run!

This game has massive potential! Yes this is similar to Hades in terms of gameplay, but has a much more complex system of supported elements, not mainly weapon based like Hades. The art style is great, the topic of Chinese mythology is also great. Hades has that dark cartoony vibe but overall the story is quite straightforward, this one has that weird, creepy and tragic story which usually seen in Chinese stuffs. If you want a Chinese approach of this Hades genre in a complex way, go with Sin & Love, if you want a simpler one, go with Warm Snow. Overall very satisfied, this and Warm Snow is on the top of my list when it comes to Hades style roguelike. Plays very well on the deck too.
