Slapstick Bosses

Slapstick Bosses is a really goofy boss fighting game that I had a lot of fun with because it clearly does not take itself seriously. Every boss has its own strange personality, visual style and gameplay idea, so I never quite know what kind of fight I am going into next. I liked that feeling of being thrown into something ridiculous and having to figure it out as I go. The main gameplay is focused entirely on fighting bosses, which keeps the experience nice and simple. The different bosses play differently, so I have to learn their attacks and adjust my approach instead of using exactly the same strategy every time. I enjoyed that because the game manages to make each encounter feel like its own little challenge rather than a repeated arena fight. The difficulty options are also a nice touch. I can start with a more manageable version of a fight and then push myself harder once I understand how the boss works. There are also challenge versions that modify the encounters, which gives me another reason to return to fights I have already completed. I liked this more than I expected because it turns the game into something I can gradually master. I also enjoyed the cosmetic system.…

This game changed my view on the politcal state of Europe. My eyes have been jaundiced to orange juice. I need to reach the word count, so I will now restate (to the best of my knowledge) the European pledge. I pledge alligence to the queen of england, and I will never go to the dentist. Amazing game.

Sadly I can't recommend this game due to some bug that just freezes my screen. I tried verifiying and reinstalling the game but nothing works. Audio is fine, everything works except that the screen is frozen. If I maximize the window the frame changes to a new frozen screen, but that's it.
