Slap That

I admit, this game was really fun. The idea of slapping things around and using objects you slap as projectiles made for some funny situations. However, when going through the apartments level, the game froze upon trying to drop down the 4th airvent and I wound up having to force my system off in order to stop it from overheating. I haven't turned my PC back on yet, as its still cooling down, but if what Ixm reading from other reviews aboht lack of autosave not being there, I think this may be where I stop playing entirely.

So this is a student project which I'm sure you can tell from the store page and developer/publisher credits, and it seems to be fully functional, working as intended without any optimization issues. It is also very unique, I have definitely never played something like this. Unfortunately, that's it for the positives in my opinion. This is a meme platformer game, not really my cup of tea, and it was clear to me that the meme factor is aimed at a different audience. Poor spelling to the point of almost being incomprehensible, a bunch of what I think were supposed to be jokes that I didn't get, and visuals that not only hurt my eyes but seemed to be bringing on a headache by the time I finished the game. I respect it, I'm grateful for the chance to have been able to play it, and I hope the devs did well with their studies and life in general, however this was obviously not for me and I did not enjoy it. But hey, it's free. Try it out for yourself.

Slapping things is a funner concept than I thought.
