About SnL

The essence of the game is very simple and understandable even to younger children (despite the fact that adults play this game with great interest !!).

Players take turns to roll a die and move to a certain number of cells. Some cells in the field are ordinary, cells with stairs and snakes move the player’s chip to another cell. The player who first got to the finish line wins.

Before the start of the game, chips are placed in front of the playing field. The sequence of the move is determined by lot. Then the players take turns to roll the die and, according to the numbers that have been dropped, move their chips to the appropriate number of cells on the field. The goal of the game is to get to the finish line first - cells with number 100.

If a chip has stopped on a cell with a ladder (green), the player moves the chip up to the end of the ladder. If the chip stopped at the cell with the head of the snake (red) - the chip goes down to the very tip of the tail.

"SnL" - or "S'n'L" as the title screen calls it - is a rather simple game. Or, in the words of Wikipedia: "The game is a simple race based on sheer luck [...]" which might be the reason it's absolutely frickin' dull. I'm not going to bore you with the details on how to play this marvel of the gaming industry. Instead I'm going to warn you that this one is *drumroll* yet another asset flip. That's also the reason it looks so dreadfully boring. While there are assets on the Unity store that look better and have more features this one is taken from Snakes and Ladders Multiplayer a certain Moe Baker published on Github for free. As the Github page states it's a prototype and it looks just like that with its default Unity menus and programmer art. It works perfectly well but it's not really anything you'd ask money for - and the original developer knew that. But that doesn't phase "cBlk" who's a serial asset flipper. They took the code, changed the name and attempted to sell it on Steam for money. All this without crediting the original author and instead claiming the "game" as their own work. Please don'…
Warning: Asset Flip!
SnL is an asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", cBlck, took the Snakes And Ladders Multiplayer tutorial/demo/game asset pack from the real developers, Moe Baker, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work. cBlck has shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab.
