About Space Choice: Data Analyzer
First, pick the type of ship you want

Secondly, pick the type of weapon to equip to your ship

Then the ship is sent to the front lines to automatically fight for you.
Once in a while, you'll get a permanent upgrade.

And once in a while, you'll get a combat pick that could drastically change the outcome of the battle.

Time is a factor

In the early levels, you'll have plenty of time to make your choices as you learn what everything does. But as you advance throughout the stages, eventually you'll reach the game's natural speed, which allows for only 4 seconds per choice.
This game is really about looking at numbers really quickly, over and over again. However, there are times when strategic choices come into play, especially when dealing with point defense weapons, nukes, and other weapon types.
Additionally, planning out a strategy for your permanent upgrades early on will help you win in the late game. Actually, I'm not sure if the game is beatable without planning your permanent upgrades.
What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players appreciate the fast-paced, challenging decision-making gameplay where choices feel impactful, with engaging space combat mechanics that improve reaction time and strategic thinking. However, complaints center on the game's brevity (completable in just a few hours), lack of content variety, and unclear mechanics that sometimes make it unclear which options are actually more effective, leading some to describe it as feeling like a mobile game with repetitive number-chasing rather than deep tactical gameplay.
It smells like a mobile game to me. Make decisions every 10 seconds and wait for the outcome. Most of the time you gonna presumably choose option with the highest number/DPS. In general it's hard to determine what is more effective against what. I would say skip because gameplay is not that fun.
4 found this helpful
=== Medium-length Review (no spoilers) === Hi folks! This review will have a closer look at "Space Choice: Data Analyzer" ("SCDA"). Let's have a look at the facts before switching my subjective views: The basic principle of SCDA is that two fleets of large and small spaceships are battling each other in the void. You - as commander of one of those fleets - have to make rapid and strategically sound decisions every few seconds which define the type of ships and which weapons /armaments your reinforcements will have (and indirectly also where the reinforcements will spawn). You will fight enemy fleets in 20 different levels (3 difficulty levels are available) where at the end of each wave / level a tough boss will spawn which you need to take down rapidly before it decimates your fleet. Apart from that, you have to make quick calls to ensure that your mothership does not get killed at any time - otherwise you have to restart the level (which you can do infinitely). Every few seconds in the game you have the choice between picking either a new type of reinforcements and their weapons, a buff / debuff that can affect both you and the enemy ships or a permanent upgra…4 found this helpful
[[description]] It's a challenging, 20-level, tactical and interesting game where you have a mothership that needs defending, and you have a choice of 3 options every 5 seconds, usually ships, sometimes permanent upgrades or field effects (like healing or destroying 15 random ships). The ship choices are randomised, from ship type, to hp/shields; and a second selection is made afterwards, offering 3 choices for weapons.
[[review]]

GAMEPLAY
I liked how challenging it was, and how simple it was. All you have to do is make a choice from 3 options. My choices always felt like they impacted the game, and it was satisfying to make an effective choice and seeing all the "enemy down"s. The first levels were easy and like a tutorial, which was good; and towards the end, I had to retry a couple of times. Including the final battle which was very tough. I also liked that nukes had AOE, and decimated nearby fighters.
VISUALS
There's usually a lot going on on screen, but doesn't overwhelm the gameplay. There is enough information to understand what I should be doing, like countering point defence, or knowing that there are nukes on the field. …
DEVELOPERS - PLEASE MAKE IT MULTIPLAYER
More on that below. Now the review part. TL;DR This game can improve your skill - it makes you think faster, make decisions faster. ---
Deep-thinkers
If you are a "lets think all thoroughly, slowly... until its too late" person (aka data analyst), then this game will make you choose faster. You may benefit from this game.
Fast-thinkers
If you are a "I do everything fast" person - well, really?? Lets challenge it. Survive here for 5 minutes.
Full Review
Gameplay: 8/10 Pros: Keeps you hooked, in split-second choices and high adrenaline. Cons: Is short - needs more content and variety. Beat it in 5 hours (in 5 game sessions). Audio: 8/10 Pros: Fast upbeat music, fits well. Cons: Not much SFX. But you won't notice it unless pay attention. Visual: 5/10 Pros: Simple, easy UI. You'll know what to do. Cons: Not so nice. But you won't notice it after 5 minutes. Gameplay loop: You do split-second choices of what ship to deploy next, what gun to put on it. Almost every 5 seconds. Then face consequences for 5 seconds, and then choose again... and again... No pause, no s…
