This game has a lot of potential. Short but sweet, the little bit of story that we get is very touching, and the graphics and music synthesize with each other very well to create a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who enjoys relaxing, sci-fi vibes and a cute art-style. The puzzles were difficult enough to require some thought but not so hard that they were impossible, so it is perfect for beginners and those who are interested in moderately difficult challenges that do not require intense logic. With some additional levels and story this game could definitely become something truly great!2 found this helpful
"Space Hopper" is one of those "I can't believe it's not a mobile app" mobile apps published in the wrong place... I guess Steam Direct is a lot easier than what Apple and Google make you go through to get a mobile app published. But you know, the abject failure of this game tells us just why those quality barriers that the app stores have is so important, and Valve really should consider them for Steam, too. This is a simple mobile-esque 2D physics game, manipulate and plot through 2D "gravity" wells to get the right trajectory and hit the target zone with a little spaceship. Yawn. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs and the latest 3D graphics cards to play 2D games. Even mobile phones and game consoles can do 3D graphics now. There's no excuse. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attemp…
