About Spaceship - Visual Effect Graph Demo
Spaceship is a short technical demo showcasing high-end visual effects of the Unity game engine.
You will play a 5-minute long first-person narrative sequence: While escaping an alien attack, your spaceship has warped into uncertain space and you need to find an escape route, before your pursuers catch up with you. Roaming into the spaceship, and Interacting with holographic terminals maps, you need to find a way to land into safe space... or is it already too late?
You can run the demo using different graphics quality levels and test some graphics features of Unity High Definition Render Pipeline. Also, we provide a benchmark mode that runs a simulation of the demo and reports simple results.
If you are interested on how the project was made, you can also download the full Unity project to learn, mod, reuse, or explore the content. It is available as open-source directly on GitHub.

"Spaceship - Visual Effect Graph Demo" this is a 5 minute mildly interactive demo to try get people to use Unity. It worked! Look how many Russian asset flips are made with Unity, right here on Steam! In this short demo you walk down a corridor and click on some stuff. In fairness, it looks great and shows that Unity could be used to make awesome games instead of the shovelware most amateur devs churn out. However, it's just an advert for Unity and is just a short tech demo with little lasting interest for gamers. This is a "maybe" experience... if you have a lot of free time on your hands and nothing else to do, why not? But for the purposes of a review, this isn't something I can say everyone must try. It's not quite there. Valve doesn't give us a "maybe" option in reviews, but if they did, that's what I'd choose for this.3 found this helpful
Good free benchmark. used cinebench and ran 20 minute test no issues and ran a few game benchmarks no probs. Ran this first time computer locked up and I will give this program a thumbs up because it helped me narrow down that my cpu overclock was not stable so I upped the voltage just a little more and then re applied my Gpu over clock no more crashing and now my machine is stable. So thank you for being just the thing to help me find an unstable overclock.3 found this helpful

Spaceship - Visual Effect Graph Positives: + Nice graphics and effects + A nicely designed spaceship + Good sounds + Atmospheric music + Nice voiceacting + Benchmark test + Its free Negatives: - Extremely short length (they were not joking about the 5 minutes) A good but very short tech demo. Please make a full game out of this, its got a really good potential. Total Score: 7/10
