About Speed Limit
Speed Limit is a non-stop genre-warping arcade experience that never slows down. No cuts, no lapses in the chaos, Speed Limit is an old-school action extravaganza boiled down to its core elements: Hard. Fast. Addictive.
As soon as you think you've learned how the game works, it changes to a completely different genre, taking you through the history of the golden arcade era.

Fight through a nail-biting side-scrolling shooter, race to the finish in an explosive top-down car chase, take flight in a thrilling fake-3D dogfight, and expect the unexpected. Speed Limit seamlessly changes styles, transforms the gameplay, and offers new challenges the moment you feel comfortable.

Running. Driving. Flying. Dying (many, many times!) - From the moment you click play to the moment you die, you are in control.
And you will die. A lot.

This game would be awesome if it were easier. Ok, it is an arcade-style runner where 1 hit can kill you, but the controls are just clunky as you don't aim with the mouse but with the arrow keys. Still, it is a great experience when you manage to get familiar with the control scheme1 found this helpful
I want to like this game, it seems like something I should enjoy but I just don't. I get what it's trying to do and it just feels kind of tedious rather than action packed for me. I have started this game up a bunch of times and it just fails to grab my attention. If you do buy this and you like the side scrolling shooter stuff you should buy Elevator Action instead. I recommend it because it seems to be well made. it's just not for me.1 found this helpful
Speed Limit is an explosive arcade action game developed and published by Gamechuck that thrives on unpredictability. Instead of committing to a single gameplay style, it continuously shifts between different genres, ensuring that players are never allowed to settle into a comfortable rhythm. Every stage introduces a fresh perspective and a new set of mechanics, transforming what initially appears to be a straightforward action title into a nonstop tribute to the arcade classics that inspired it. The game's greatest strength lies in its ability to surprise, delivering an experience that constantly reinvents itself while maintaining an impressive sense of momentum from beginning to end. The adventure begins aboard a speeding train where players are immediately thrown into a frantic side-scrolling shootout. Before long, the action dramatically changes into high-speed car chases viewed from above, fast-paced driving sequences, aerial combat, and other gameplay scenarios inspired by various generations of arcade games. Each transition feels natural despite the drastic change in mechanics, creating the sensation of participating in a blockbuster action movie where every scene introduce…
