Spirit Messages

Spirit Messages is not a game. Games contain meaningful gamelike interaction and game loops, which are absent in this software. This is, in essence, a crap ripoff of the Magic-8 Ball (that thing you shake that gives you a yes/no/maybe answer). Except it's not even as good as that. Here's how this "software" works. You type in a question, then it displays a random pose and a mix of random shapes, numbers or letters, and then you're supposed to "magically" glean insight from that and [i]type in your own answer to your own question[/i]. Ugh. Well, that sure got my organic tofu energy chakras aligned and my feng shui tingling. What garbage. Anyway, on to the important things for gamers to know about this. For those unfamiliar with what actually makes something a game, a "game loop" describes the interaction and feedback a gamer has when playing a game. Tetris, for example, has a game loop where a random block appears, the gamer interacts with the block to position it, and then the game decides if that finishes a row or not, then gives the gamer another block to position. Counter-Strike has a game loop where a player seeks another player, tests their skill against that play…

So at first I was skeptical because an app claiming to let people communicate with spirits I felt could be dangerous/manipulative to people who are either grieving or just aren't mentally stable. But this game is so ridiculous I don't think it's even possible. You open up to ai angel cloudy sky background and some buttons, First you have to pick the "Reading Type": (People, Health, Education, Goals, Exercise.) then you need to pick the "Spirit Mood": (Wind, Fire, Earth, Water, Metal) then you click start, and an avatar starts doing basic poses at random, each move is followed with a random letter, number, or shape. And from my testing it doesn't matter what you picked as the reading or mood, every session is as random as the last. After about 8 seconds the session is over and you're returned to the main menu. oh and by the way a narrator describes everything you click and do. Look if you chose to think this works then that's your belief and I won't argue with you. But if you try to tell me "U 4 G Hexagon" is actually a meaningful interpretation to your education or wealth or whatever. Then I'm going to choose to believe your nuts.

Единственное, что немного раздражает - иногда попадаются слишком редко используемые слова. Тем не менее, это не портит общего впечатления. Рекомендую эту игру всем, кто ищет казуальную и интеллектуальную головоломку, чтобы отвлечься от повседневной рутины. Она идеально подходит для коротких сессий и позволяет неплохо потренировать свой словарный запас.
