Spirit Driver

I found this game during the Steam wide Visual Novel sale and loved the art and idea of it so naturally I bought it. It's short but well put together. It was a ♥♥♥♥♥ to defeat the horse god but like... it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ god and a horse of course! lol Other than the Pokemon-esque fighting sequence you can encounter, it plays like one would expect a VN to play. The writing is solid (Love that Moon guy), and the pixel art and music choices really tie everything together with a cutely spoopy Halloween bow. Only wish I had discovered to sooner so I could play it around Halloween...

A short, but very fun and well put together experience. Worth looping for the "bad" ends too. The characters are very charming, the writing is yakuza level where it balances serious topics with almost peak meme tier shenanigans. Give these folks some love!

This was great! I loved the artstyle, The story, although simple in nature, had a lot to chew on with lots of different bits of dialogue depending on how you respond throughout a conversation. Some were heartwarming, others humourous; a well balanced story. It didn't take long to finish, most of my gametime was having it sit on certain screens because the music was very good. Each scene had a very fitting atmosphere that was helped alot by the music choice. Very pleased I found this game.
