Stamp Boy / 跳跳小子

A small-bodied action-puzzle over-the-top game where the protagonist can only move and jump, and some enemies can be stepped on. Each level has a key to open the door, and three gems (red, green, and blue) as additional collection elements. There are four levels in this game, each level has a guard boss, different methods of attack, cute style, the game is difficult. You can also encounter a variety of different enemies and organs in the process of attacking, very challenging!

This cute little game is pretty fun and a little short! Most of my playtime came from trying to get less than 160 seconds in the boss rush, or a time less than 440 seconds. The main campaign is not very difficult. Death is inconsequential since there are no lives, though take care because you will die in one hit by anything. Each stage has some collectibles in it that are basically freebies since they are almost always in your direct path to the exit. The boss rush can be a little tricky when it comes to boss RNG (I'm looking at you mushroom boss!), but you can still make the time as long as you don't throw your run. Stamp Boy is pretty cheap at only $2. If you can get it on sale, there's really no reason not to try it out, especially if you are a fan of classic platforming games!

Great Platform

Main game is quite fun. Gives a lot of vibes of Donkey Kong on the gameboy, though with less movement options. It has some minor issues with hitboxes in my opinoin but as a whole is pretty good. I don't recommend the boss rush, the issues start to really show and the bosses are honestly a bit of a weak aspect of the game. Quick little thing (maybe 2 hours for the main game) so try it if you want.
