Very polished game. I like the color and smoothness of the game. The design is very interesting. There's a lot of detail, and the concept is cool. It's easy to play. I first played the game on their iOS (Apple) Beta but then came here to play as well. The gameplay is very short and easy to play at anytime.

I like the music, the customization, the variety of the maps, and how satisfying and smooth it is to move the ships around! It's fast paced yet doesn't feel rushed as it doesn't have a timer for each turn. Was easy to learn yet still has a challenging aspect with how many kinds of ships there are.

Starcade Factions is a must-play for fans of strategy games and space operas. Its combination of deep strategy, pick-up and play style, and multiplayer action make it a great game for beginners and experts of the genre.

7/10 Space-themed TBS with a simultaneous turns system TLDR: The main feature of this TBS game is the simultaneous turns. Yet they are resolved in an alternating fashion: in turn 1 your orders are processed first, then those of the opponent, then in turn 2 the opponent's order get performed first and yours after and so on. Other than that, the game mixes TCG-like unit deployment with wargame-like battles on a hex grid. The biggest pain atm is that you can't see attack ranges. The biggest plus is that rules frequently change between battles, adding variety. Good: + free + rules frequently change between battles. E.g. in one battle the main base gets +1 for each friendly unit lost. In another battle all units are capped at 1 movement point, and so on + params of units aren't too complex and there is less than a dozen unit types. Yet they interplay in interesting ways, and the faction-specific or battle-specific buffs or debuffs reshuffle the formula So-so: +/- graphics are mediocre, with generic low-poly spaceships. I really enjoy this game. Easy to pick up. The tutorial was extremely helpful to quickly get into game mode and play. The experience was seamless. The chess like vibe was cool. Graphics are excellent. The colors, ship models, movement and battle scenes are exceptionally well done. This dev cares about the community and the whole sensory experience. All of there games excel in appearance and graphic presentation. Looking forward to some more game time. I am playing on pc.
