About Starcaller

The temple that was once pristine has become overgrown and disordered, you return to wade through the newly formed life and complete your life’s work; the ritual to the stars.
As the Starcaller you must race against the clock to restore as many temple walls as possible to their former glory. When night finally creeps in, you must complete the final ritual; send as many falling star fragments as possible back to the night sky.
Once you've learned each puzzle wall, master them and repeat the ritual as fast as possible to top the leaderboards!

Starcaller has 30 unique puzzles, 10 different puzzle walls each with 3 tiers of difficulty and additionally randomized to ensure that every time you play its a new experience! Puzzle tasks range from figuring out celestial patterns, realigning symbols on rotating discs, and memorizing musical notes.

We will be updating Starcaller regularly with events, bug fixes, new puzzles, new game modes and more. Smaller updates will be free, larger content packs may come as paid DLC. You can follow our development progress on our Discord and Trello!
Experienced on the Meta Quest 3
I think it's more than okay for the price. It's a challenge puzzle game. You basically get a collection of puzzles that get more challenging as you go along in different runs. At the end though, you have a throwing competition to get a high score and climb the leaderboards. This throwing competition seems at odds with the puzzle game mechanics. Shouldn't it just be how fast you're able to do a puzzle run? If you love pure puzzles games, this game will probably be right up your alley. There's a nice variety of puzzles and they're not too challenging, at least not at the start (they do get more complex though the more you play). It's standing-space room-scale so you can just reach out and play the puzzles. The grabbing mechanic seems to have been fixed and I had no issue although it does take a little while to figure out what the game wants. You can play comfortably seated. It's not really my jam though. So I won't score it or do a video review. Rate ?/10.
Please note: I received a free Steam key through the Steam Curator Connect program. If you're looking for a fun game to play and challenge yourself at the same time, I doubt you'll find something better than this. The graphics are absolutely beautiful, it's immersive and also extremely fun to play. Highly recommend :)1 found this helpful
I gave it a thumbs down because of price. I think for a game like under $5 is fair. The puzzles are simple but interesting. I think it's a cool different type of VR game. A bit short though and with some quarks. Recommendations: __Grabbing - Doesn't always works, and is with the finger versus the lower middle. For a game that's all about interaction thats a big one. __Graphics - I thought were pretty good but I'd like to see more options. __Grabbing crystals - On one of the challenges the crystal slipped out of my hand and flew up. Kind of makes it hard to beat if your crystals float away. __Last challenge - Collect and throw as many as you can again tied to grabbing. My Specs: i9 9900k 32Gb RAM 1Tb M2 5080 GPU Quest 3 (wifi)
Very immersive. The way the hands make items feel heavy or light is awesome! I also love that I can grab the equipment from anywhere, and not just 1 fixed hand pose!
I recently had the pleasure of playing Monarch Studio's game, Starcaller, and I have to say, it's an absolute blast! From the moment I started playing, I was hooked. The gameplay is incredibly engaging and challenging, but never frustrating. I found myself constantly pushing to get better and beat my own high scores... And the developers score. One of the things I love most about Starcaller is the music. It's upbeat and energetic, and really helps to keep you immersed in the game. The sound effects are also spot on, adding to the overall experience. I have to admit, Starcaller can be a bit stressful at times, but in the best possible way. The sense of urgency and adrenaline rush really makes the game feel exciting and intense. But despite the stress, it's always fun, and I found myself constantly coming back for more. Overall, I would highly recommend Starcaller to anyone looking for a fun and challenging game. Monarch Studio has really outdone themselves with this one, and I can't wait to see what they come up with next.
Super relaxing, fun game for VR. I'm new to VR, and this is the perfect game for me getting used to how to use the controllers and practice my hand eye coordination. The music is chill, the colors are beautiful and the puzzles are fun. They get harder the more you progress, so it is not overwhelming when you are just starting. I am able to play this in a smaller space, either standing or seated. I really like the global and friend leader boards, the achievements and the ability to earn new hands. Gives me something to shoot for! I look forward to playing with my friends when multiplayer comes out! Definitely recommend.
