Experienced on Windows Mixed Reality
You can view my gameplay & initial impressions review here: https://youtu.be/qV7ks_inAs0 So my first impression of the game was not very good. I wasn't having fun and the game just didn't look good in VR. The 3D graphics just didn't pop. Plus, on top of that the motion controllers are used like laser pointers where you press trigger as a one button controller. Finally, there wasn't a tutorial or explanation for anything that you were doing. I switched to an Xbox One controller. It was a combination of gaze-based navigation and one button controls. It felt very odd at first, but seemed more seamless than the motion controllers. I started going further into the levels and I was starting to have some fun. The further I went, the trickier the levels got. New elements are introduced which change up what you've been doing and the goal isn't always the same in every level. I would get stuck on a level until I figured out some of the mechanics. This game does a great job of making the difficulty so it seems like something you should be able to get done with just a few tries. It just takes a bit of practice. Perfect for that just one more t…6 found this helpful
Your long time fan. You even included some new soundtrack, absolute goosebumps!1 found this helpful
Was watching this game for a while, stalking it so to speak and finally it is here, and it is not what I expected. But since I did not know what to expect I had to fall back to wondering if it was good, no need to wonder anymore. The game so far seems very good and quite groovy. Finally a good looking VR game that I can relax and enjoy. Will post more as game goes on, but I would recommend this for sure, it is very unique.1 found this helpful
I don't understand how this game is not popular. It is a remake of the old game StarDrone with new stuff, over 50 levels and great graphics, keeping the old sound effects, music. I got it on sale and I would love to see a sequel. The game is not VR only, I played with mouse.
Takes a minute to figure out how to control the ship but it's rewarding when you do (I think they intentionally left out a tutorial so you can discover how to control it on your own, for fun discovery as part of the challenge) - quite a unique and fun game!
