Straima is a challenging indie platformer that places skill, speed, and precision above everything else. Developed by caiys and published by caiysware, the game delivers an experience built around mastering movement and overcoming increasingly difficult obstacle-filled stages. Rather than relying on a deep narrative or cinematic presentation, Straima focuses entirely on gameplay, offering players a demanding journey through dozens of carefully crafted levels that reward persistence and mechanical improvement. Its arcade-inspired design philosophy is immediately apparent, creating an experience that feels both retro and modern at the same time. The core gameplay revolves around navigating compact levels while eliminating designated enemies and avoiding a wide range of hazards. What initially appears simple quickly reveals surprising depth as new mechanics, environmental challenges, and level-specific twists are introduced throughout the campaign. With more than 125 levels available, the game consistently adds fresh ideas that prevent the experience from becoming repetitive. Every stage feels like a test of timing, positioning, and reflexes, encouraging players to learn through tria…1 found this helpful
Why do I own this game? I havn't played it once.
I really liked the devs other games but this one isn't for me. This being a timed puzzle platformer makes it a combination of all my least favourite genres.
DISCLAIMER: This is a first impressions review, and NOT a full review
Straima is a game developed and published by caiys The game offers some nice graphics and a beautiful aesthetic which is pleasant all the same and has some amazing attention to detail even though it is a little rough around the edges The game does suffer with some repetitiveness at certain areas of the game but a fun game nonetheless and ends just at the right time Straima overall, however, is a fun game to play, yet sometimes repetitive and it does get boring if being played for a long time, but is a good platformer game to play in short bursts!
RECOMMENDED :)
REVIEW SOURCES:

None
