About The Impossible Game
The Impossible Game is a one-button precision platformer where you guide a square through brutal spike-filled levels, with every mistake forcing you back to the start. Master the rhythm-synced obstacles, compete for medals, create your own devilish levels in the exclusive Level Editor, and challenge players worldwide.
With just one button, guide your orange square over spikes and jump onto blocks to get to the end of the level. Sounds easy? Any mistake results in instant death, sending you back to the beginning of the level. With an awesome soundtrack synced to the game you’ll quickly become addicted!
Try and unlock medals throughout the game, including beating the game with no flags — all synced up with Steam Achievements — and use checkpoints to learn the levels with Practice Mode, allowing you to lay checkpoints along the way.
As well as five classic Impossible Game levels, this desktop version includes an EXCLUSIVE new Level Editor. Design your own near-impossible levels and send them over the internet to challenge the world!

The Impossible Game is a classic geometry-based platformer that serves as a solid prequel to its successor, praised for its grounded design and memorable level challenge despite providing only 1-4 hours of content. Players commonly complain about performance issues including crashes, jitter, and lagspikes, along with frustrating physics that feel worse than newer alternatives, with the Heaven level being a particular point of contention.
A classic for a reason. Short & sweet. If you HAVEN'T played GD I'd highly recommend playing this first if you have the money for both IG & GD (if not just get GD), this is basically the prequel game. And for those of you who have played GD, it's definitely worth it to go back and revisit (or just visit) this classic game. You're likely going to get between 1-4 hours of content depending on what you've achieved in GD. Also ♥♥♥♥ Heaven that thing plays like a map pack level but it was pretty fun to memorize tbh1 found this helpful

The OG. Has a few weird quirks and the physics are generally worse than its spiritual successor, however it does stay significantly more grounded. Oh yeah, there's also a pretty bad sequel that looks like a Blooket game. We don't need to talk about that.
