Strange Encounter

Amateurish game in almost every aspect. Gameplay consisted mostly of running around a forest trying to find stuff and people. Most characters were wooden because of badly written, rushed dialogues. I knew night was supposed to fall, but everything in the forest was so badly lit, so dark, that it hurt visibility and made things look drab and ugly, which was no small feat with the Unreal engine. Minor point, but I couldn't invert the y-axis which made looking around awkward for me. Finally, you can't save and even though the game lasts only 45 minutes (which I didn't know at the time), I almost quit in frustration before when I had to wander around randomly to find those 4 tablets. Thankfully, I did not pay anything for this.

A really weird game that all you do are walking in the room, I don't expect a game which say "unreal engine 4" but graphic look like window me type of game.

Игра *Strange Encounter* — атмосферное приключение с нестандартной механикой. Сюжет строится на загадках и диалогах, где каждый выбор влияет на развитие истории. Графика стильная, с минималистичным дизайном, а звуковая дорожка усиливает напряжение. Особенно порадовала уникальная система решения головоломок через логику и наблюдательность. Однако сложность некоторых уровней может отпугнуть новичков. В целом — рекомендую для любителей интеллектуальных игр с глубоким сюжетом.

so this is my opinion the game itself is crap however being as it is a first game made by 2 people only i will give them the benefit of the doubt they tried and i feel they will do a lot better in the future if they continue to make games but the graphics are not the best and the sounds made me feel uneasy like the woman who fell over overall i would give it a 4/10

Nice idea! I Loved the dusky landscape. A map with miniquests and strange visitors , human and otherwise. Very creative. I wonder if the game was translated in the form of a more recent graphics, or as a visual novel / interactive fiction
