About Strategic Surge

The world order is crumbling. You are its primary arsonist.

While the Western Alliance is paralyzed by internal strife, the Federation has seen a unique window of opportunity. As a top-tier Intelligence General, you are tasked with a cold, calculated mission: lead the expansion and return four border nations to the State’s orbit of influence. You are not here to be a hero. You are a tool of the system, operating in a reality where honor is a liability and the President’s will is absolute.

Modern Combined Arms Warfare

Experience a deep, conventional hex-based wargame where tactical synergy is your only path to survival. Coordinate heavy armor, motorized infantry, and devastating artillery on a "transparent" battlefield.
  • Zero-RNG Combat Calculation: On the battlefield, luck is irrelevant. Every shot and every strike is a pure calculation of ballistics, armor, and positioning. There are no dice rolls—only your tactical competence determines who survives.
  • Drones & EW: Deploy FPV drones for surgical strikes and reconnaissance. Use Electronic Warfare to blind the enemy and sever their command links.
  • Surgical Operations: While major battles decide the front, rare tactical missions—like night raids or snatching high-value targets—can flip the geopolitical board.
  • Logistical Reality: Your units are Expendable Assets, represented as tactical dossiers. Every loss is permanent, and every reinforcement is a choice between scarcity and necessity.

The Thin Line of Escalation

You do not fight in a vacuum. The Alliance may be in disarray, but it is a sleeping giant. Every "dirty" move, every civilian casualty, and every "meat-grinder" assault conducted just to satisfy a PR goal in the capital brings the Alliance closer to awakening. Excessive aggression will trigger high-tech Lend-Lease support for your enemies, flooding the front with advanced Western weaponry.

The Chaos of Hybrid War

While the guns follow logic, the world does not. Navigate a landscape of shifting loyalties and unpredictable human factors.
  • High-Stakes Random Events: Confront dozens of random events where your decisions have probabilistic outcomes. Whether it’s a bribe, a defection, or a covert extraction, you’ll have to play the odds.
  • Fail Forward: Defeat is not a reason to restart. Failed objectives change the course of the conflict. Struggle through a triumphant invasion in the first act, and fight for your life in an agonizing retreat in the second.
  • Moral Dilemmas: From silencing journalists who saw too much to sacrificing a battalion for a symbolic victory, your choices define the world’s reaction and your soldiers' loyalty.

The Enemy Within

The most dangerous front isn't the one on your tactical map—it's the one behind your back. To Command, morality is a hollow concept, and your survival depends entirely on your utility. You hold too many secrets to be allowed a peaceful retirement. If you become a liability to the State, the system will dispose of you far more efficiently than the enemy does.
  • Tactical Freedom: Achieve objectives through brute force, careful scouting, or political subversion.
  • Rogue-lite Meta: Build your deck of operational assets, adapting to an ever-changing pool of reinforcements and random events.
  • Geopolitical Pressure: Balance the approval of the Staff, the morale of your troops, and the scrutiny of international media.
Will you reclaim the Federation's greatness, or will you be consumed by the fire you were sent to start?

**This game is a work of fiction. It does not promote real-world aggression and is intended to explore the mechanics of power and the human cost of decisions in times of conflict.
