About Sunflower Pie
The worst thing about Oliver’s breakfast is that it wants to be eaten.
Inspired by early RPGmaker horror games and Adult Swim bumpers, Sunflower Pie is a bite-sized visual novel with extra parasites (for flavor). Much like real life, it oscillates violently between discomfort and sincerity. Unlike real life, however, there is only one correct choice.

I wish I could say I love it-!!! BUT!!! The storytelling and writing is immaculate and works wonderfully with the metaphorical art of the characters, but as soon as the artstyle change happens, everything falls off. HARD. I hate the gooner looking "Happy" artstyle, and I hate that the mom is simply forgiven for everything she`s done. You are never forced to forgive anyone. You don`t need to forgive to earn your own peace. You.do.not.owe.forgiveness.to.anyone. The game is FANTASTIC just until this point, the end just throws everything away and I hate it. whyyyy? Wish I could give a neutral thumb but eh
this game had one hell of an opening line and keeps that energy for the whole run. weird as ♥♥♥♥, dark, kind of schizophrenic. reminds me of oyasumi punpun. only part i didn't like was the sudden change in tone at the end. 4/5
decent storyline. symbolic. esc will exit you out of the game with no save feature.
+10 for no Post Malone
Very fascinating concept! Quite short, but a nice little spooky game for a quick deep dive into some strange thoughts and theories, letting you see a bigger perspective. Nicely done!
