Discovering this game was an absolute delight! First of all, bunnies and pigs are my favorite animals. what a perfect combo! Not everyone will side with monsters. There's a lot that could be added to this indie visual novel. Music, voice acting (accessibility), font and size change settings, more hand drawn art. Alas, aside from the accessibility items, it literally doesn't matter. This is a love story of the best form and I hope the author found this as therapeutic to create as it's players find to read. <3 I also immediately got the bad ending, 10/10.5 found this helpful
A really good little visual novel to read. Very cute and sad visuals. If you deal with any of the warning topics yourself i highly recommend giving it a read. It was also pretty educational and did make me tear up as well. I love bunny and pig!3 found this helpful
This game is pretty wonderful if you enjoy visual novels and reading. It's realistic and relatable, and it feels eye-opening especially with the deep topics. In some cases it felt both personal and familiar, and it was pretty accurate to some events in my life and how it was dealt with. The Pig and the Bunny presents itself as a touching story, but in reality, it’s more of a short, text-based experience than an actual game. While it attempts to tug at your heartstrings with a sad narrative, it lacks any meaningful gameplay—no choices, no interaction, just passive reading. Calling this a “game” is misleading. There’s no player agency, no challenge, and nothing that justifies its price tag. It feels more like a brief digital novella, and not a particularly engaging one at that. If you’re looking for something interactive or immersive, this isn’t it. And for the price? Definitely not worth it. It’s a story that leaves you more frustrated than emotional. Verdict: 🐷🐰 More text than game, more sad than satisfying. Save your money.
