Super Kaiju

This game is great. It sucks it's not popular enough atm. I played with my friend and had a blast. The singleplayer is surprisingly really fun. When you have all the cards unlocked (which don't take much time to get) it gets really hectic especially when you play with friends. You can also unlock different kaiju's which and they all have different special weapons which I found cool. Again, it sucks that this game isn't popular enough atm, and I really hope it does because I can see this as a competitive strategy game.

Looks great. Plays great. Except it is multiplayer only, and there's no-one else around.

I have so much fun playing this game. Now I just wish there were more cards and bots to use. And no one is ever on for multiplayer, but I think that's common for a lot of VR games that you have to coordinate times to play with people.

7.0 out of 10 Excuse the short playing time, this is one of those linear VR titles you can sum up quickly after a short amount of playtime. Super Kaiju is by no means a must buy VR classic, but it's definately a refreshing change on the wave shooter format. To sum up the game. You're fighting a mech on an opposite platfrom but you can't blast them with your guns directly so you attack with powerups. A match is the best of 3 timed rounds. You can either destroy the other player or win by having the most energy remaining at the end of the round. To attack the other players energy you purchase special weapon powerups by earning stars. Both players shoot the flying targets to earn stars to buy the powerups. Powerups consist of offensive and defensive, such as bombs, shields, turrets, bullet time. I've only scratched the surface there's a lot of variety within these categories I've yet to to unlock. It think it should take a few hours gameplay to unlock everything. You earn experience after each match to level up and unlock random powerups and build a trading card deck of powerups to use in matches. I find myself getting on this game periodically to see if there are people to play against. When you start out you will get your ass handed to you if you go up against another player. It doesn't take very long to get the gear/items to be competative though. The practice option while waiting for a match is nice. Player base seems low. Too bad, this game is entertaining. Timing on skills is key. Game looks nice and plays smoothly

An excellent game that is very fun to play with friends, it also has an awesome unlockable system that doesn't feel force and keeps the game enjoyable! Must buy if you love rts with some aiming skill involved!
