This is just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ phone game. The preview and tags give the illusion that this is top-down turn based; thats not the case, you simply click. For everything. Big ugly phone UI aswell. I just can't muster up any respect for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 'game' especially because the base price is 12$. Stupid.2 found this helpful
Demons sprint across my screen like stray cats, I’m a happy hostage of their loops and explosions with no save.
Good game,good music
Super Turbo Demon Busters! is a frantic and unapologetically chaotic roguelite shooter from HeroLabs that leans fully into its low-fi, arcade-inspired energy. Rather than aiming for realism or heavy narrative, it embraces a tone of wild improvisation where you and your squad of misfit commandos are dropped—through bureaucratic incompetence—onto a hostile alien world crawling with demons, mutants, and hazardous environments. The game treats its premise with deliberate absurdity, using humor, exaggerated enemies, and nonstop action to keep the player constantly moving from one explosive encounter to the next. It’s a title built for quick runs, frequent deaths, and constant experimentation, and it never pretends to be anything more serious than an energetic, pixel-filled romp. At first glance, the retro pixel art sets the stage. The characters are chunky and expressive, the monsters grotesquely charming, and the environments drenched in neon atmospheres and glowing hazards. The hand-drawn portrait art for team members contrasts nicely with the simpler in-game sprites, adding personality to an otherwise minimalist presentation. While the environments tend to repeat visually, the overa…
"It's just bad". Look, this was a mobile game once. It was ported to PC. And not only is it STILL BROKEN AFTER YEARS (namely quest issues where the "fix" is to mess with your registry...) but it's also a terribly designed game. And you know what? I can tell you a SINGLE CHANGE that would have made a difference: in-game, when choosing what enemy group to tackle next, let us change which mercenary is going to be used. Because that's the only way to make use of the enemies' resistances and make meaningful choices about weapon usage. Some balancing things would need changing, such as how health of the player works, but it would actually make a meaningful choice and impact the player experience to transform it from a mindless BAD clicker game to a poor man's tactical RPG instead. I have as much time as I have because I decided to just 100% and forever forget this game a while ago. And I can say that it was probably a better choice to remove it from my library and get back about a day's worth of my life's time instead.
