Swing Scale

Swing scale is a simple foddian grappling game. You would think that being a grappling game, you could gain a lots of speed and momentum, but to prevent skips, the game has a system where going too fast break the ropes, and also doesn't allow you to reset your grappling if you touch the ground with too much momentum. Unfortunately this remove a lots of potential for speedrunning, which suck especially with a finish the game 50 time achievement, but the game still stay fun. There is a variety of obstacle so it's not always the same solution and you can still keep a momentum between each obstacle, as long as its not too fast. From my experience, the level is really punishing toward the beginning but you reach a checkpoint ish area on the second half of the map. There is a computer hidden somewhere that i haven't found yet so maybe more punishing fall when trying to find it. Overall, this is on the easier end of the foddian genre and i enjoyed it.

I'm leaving my review as an older gamer just to say that this game was too frustrating and difficult for me, and after trying over and over to figure it out, I finally gave up and asked Steam for a refund. Sorry.
