About Szikra
Szikra (Spark in Hungarian) is a relaxing, 2.5D side-scrolling short game set in a unique steampunk/fantasy environment. You have to find your way through vast fields, magical forests, and giant gears in a steaming factory to reach the twisted circus where your friend is locked up. There is no combat, no dying, and no way to fail. However, you will still need a few well-timed jumps, and you must find switches and push boxes around to get to your destination.
The world and visual style of the game were inspired by the beautiful paintings of Anita Tóth (Worlds Within). In many places, you can find the original paintings in the game.
Szikra was created in about 10 months by a sole developer as a fun project and is free to play. If you enjoyed playing the game, please consider supporting me by buying the Soundtrack DLC.

✦ AI summary
Players consistently praise this free game for its charming artistic style, atmospheric music, and relaxing puzzle-based gameplay that offers a refreshing alternative to typical action games. Most reviewers enjoyed the short experience as a pleasant, sweet diversion, though one player reported getting stuck early on and found the experience frustrating rather than engaging.
Random Steam game generator #1 Doing a challenge with a friend where we have to play whatever game we roll on a random generator. Played this, and beat it in about a half hour, enjoyed it quite a bit, the art is good in my opinion, and the puzzles are relatively simple but I enjoyed the overall theme and music. As a free game, this is an easy recommendation for a short and sweet game.1 found this helpful
Very satisfying and relaxing game. This reminds me of game like unravelled and just like them i absolutely love this type of game. The artistic style and the music are well done and the story is thrilling, Absolutely brilliant for a free game, can't wait to see more from this developer.
I liked this. It was fun and atmospheric. I loved the music in it.
What an absolutely charming game. Lovely artwork and sound. Makes a real change from the normal rush, fight, die which makes up most games. I really enjoyed it. Thank you for this. A breath of fresh air.
charming little game. short, sure, but sweet. i really liked the art and the music is quite nice too.
I'd say "just Google Anita Toth's paintings" except I tried that and the results were...not what I expected. I know it's free but I played for about 15 minutes before I got stuck in what felt like an inescapable loop, so that's a thumbs down from me.
