❤️ Loved the atmosphere and the art style!
I got the feeling that I had played through a sort of disturbing love story. It felt like you were trying to save both your brother from a dangerous relationship and yourself. That's just my interpretation, especially based on the ending, when you see the basement full of the lady's hanged victims and you snap her neck for good.
My only criticism is that I had to play with a walkthrough; otherwise, I don't think I would have been able to solve most of the puzzles. Still, I really enjoyed it! I'll definitely be playing the next titles over the coming nights. I love these short little games as a game developer who also makes short creepy games myself!1 found this helpful
Review after 100% :
A pretty short puzzle game about a guy trying to rescue his abducted brother. Genre listed as puzzle platformer but its morelike just a puzzle game with 2 or 3 platformer section.
The puzzles:
Most of them are straighforward, but some (the ritual one at midgame and most of last chapter ones) require some trial and error if you play normally without guide/hint.
Narrative:
For the whole game except the last chapter, it feels not grimm-esque enough. Like it has the theme but not the same lvl of dark aspect in it, but the last section of the game does reach that grimm-esque expectation. So all in all, its a decent and short experience. If you're trying to 100% achivement this,
there's one achievement thats so rng-based that it'll annoy you. Might need to replay some stage if you play without guide as some of them are missable and not really obvious.
1 found this helpful
