this game will not open on windows if you have defender running, because it was made with Clickteam Fusion 2.5 and so is seen as a virus by windows defender. it's a shame, because it looks cool.

This game is insanely good. It captures early Megadrive- PCEengine aesthetics spot on. It feels just right. It is also hard AF (As Foretold), but I have managed to make it to like level six with one life on normal. I tend to just close the game if I die once. I also can tell the influence on the music of this (FM Synth inspired) soundtrack. Track 1 is exactly structured like that cliché Wily's fortress from Rockman 2, and Track 2 is Whirlwind from The Super Shinobi III, is it not? Anyway, this game is awesome - graphics and music and gameplay in all, and everybody should give it a try.

Gave one go at the game, like 5 minutes, reached level 3 without continues. Instant reminds me of the Ninja-Kun games. Unless this game does something really stupid later on, I'm already in love with it. I know it's short (the trophy screen kinda gives this in), people say you can beat it in 15 minutes... but that's what I want from gaming nowadays. Short games I have to master. 15 minutes of well crafted level design and tight mechanics. Level design is really very, very good, with enemy attacking from angles and positions that requires skill and are fun to deal with (I didn't face anything that felt unfair or frustrating). Music is really good. My only complain is the "Lock run" feature which is on the same button as "Lock in position", so sometimes you want to lock in position but if you are not standing still before you press the button you end up running while you wanted to stand still (Something I see more people have criticized). Not a big deal, and just something you need to be careful of. Overall, if you are fan of arcade games (Or, say, NES alike platform games) this is a no-brainer....

great run ' n gun action, can get quite tough and unrelenting, especially on insane. highly recommend you try hard first even if you're experienced, it's still challenging. features aim locking and free aim which is always nice, though the implementation of the latter is very different from most games in the genre. in this game, free aiming is called "lock move", it allows you to continue moving in your current direction while aiming freely. if you're standing still, it functions as standard free aim. while this is cool, i wish there was a dedicated button for free aim while standing still, as you can very easily get yourself killed by trying to free aim while you're still moving. as with most games in the genre, slowly inching forward is a big issue and unfortunately the time limit is too lenient to combat this very powerful strategy, would be nice to see this fixed. some accessibility options like autofire and practice mode would've been nice, and please allow for binding actions to triggers on controllers.
