Just one more loop....

Posting as of v0.6.1.26: This game is good! It's text-heavy (obviously--there are no images haha), so as long as you're fine with that it's worth playing. I'm a big fan of time loop-style games, like Increlution and Idle Loops. This is a bit different in that it takes place in a futuristic space setting, but the creator Shadowsand has put a ton of thought and effort into curating an experience where you have a ton of agency in which direction you want to take things (the dev is super active on Discord). This is still EA, so a few things do change as patches go on (recently, something important in one of the "first" bases became something closer to endgame). Your actions do speed up as you do them more in successive loops, but there is a soft cap--this lets Shadowsand control "power creep" a bit better. I definitely recommend if you're into time loop-style text games. There's a ton of content for $6 already, and there's just going to be more content as time goes on.

A wonderful experience. I was sucked in by the story, the description of the world, and the beautiful soundtrack. I loved the feeling of building my personal mastery over the game by learning where things were and the best ways to acquire them. Of course the in-game growth of acquiring better stats and unlocking new actions is also compelling. Terraformental is survival and exploration distilled to its core to take you on an amazing journey. I can't wait to see what the dev has in store as it approaches full release.

Very enjoyable narrative mystery game - not very incremental (I'd describe it closer to semi-idle resource management), but very much my jam.

well polished time looping text adventure game

When I realized I played four hours of the demo, I figured I had to get the game.
