Very cool. Love the leader retirement mechanic (why can't Civ do it like that?), and overall lots happening at every single turn. There's also a meta-progression where you unlock new leaders and other stuff by completing scenarios, which helps keep things fresh. I also like that a game can easily be finished in 60-80 turns so it doesn't get too drawn-out, though you are allowed to keep building your colony beyond the finishing line if you so desire. This is how turn-based games should be. 5/5
Nice challenging puzzler. Addictive so watch the clock or the next thing you know you have less 3 hours to sleep before work. Some cards are locked behind the score but that is what is getting me to play again. Haven't figured out the a.i. yet so maybe it is easier than you do. 28 hours so far. Worth the purchase during the summer sale.
In my second game of Terraformers, I had gotten so lost in the sauce that my Steam Deck shut off on me. While reading the lore and quality of life improvements you can offer your Martian folk, I somehow ignored all the low battery warnings. Your only enemy in this game is natural disasters and you being bad at governance. The way things should be. Terraformers gives you all the chill explore, expand, exploit parts of CIvilization, without exterminate and a card-based building system. It's more of a 3X game, as you want to create life. If that speaks to you, then yeah my dude, I recommend it.
Honestly it's just kind of boring. It's like playing a civilization game but without all the fun mechanics like research and diplomacy.
