At first it was fun, good dialogue, a host of different gloves you can play as but as I played the game I found it to be noisey and bloated, with a final boss that is totally broken on any level (story/balanced/hard mode) I have played many games like this before, the concept is pretty simple. kill enemies and earn gold, after each level you pick an ability or two to upgrade your character. as waves progress you can get more abillities and upgrade previous ones. this is the first problem, there are way WAAAAY too many options. while games like "sexy mystic survivors" have 20 abilities, this has double. this makes each campaign a bloated mess. you can pick the summoner hand and hardly ever see a summoner spell throughout the game because there is too many damn options. the game does give you the option to "ban" items form being seen during a playthrough, but only being able to ban 7 out of 40 is terrible. I played the projectile based glove on hard mode and only saw 1 projectile spell in 12 out of 20 rounds. not good. the last boss is a mess. her round one has nothing but homing attacks. you cant dodge them. you better have a shield of invincibility ability because she will wreck…
I really enjoyed playing this game. It's a great idea with fun gameplay, and the nostalgic voice of the old hand from *Plants vs. Zombies* is a nice touch. Definitely a 10/10! That said, the game urgently needs an infinite mode or another endless gameplay option to keep players coming back.
I don't think this is for me. I have played a couple of action roguelikes and those I liked, Cult of the Lamb first and foremost. This one I feel like I'm moving my mouse around so much I can't enjoy what is on screen. It all seems chaotic. Maybe if I was playing with a controller as this is my first one with a mouse. I tried to beat 3 of the generals to see 3 of the scenes but I got screwed with the third one when low on health. I'm not really having fun with the 19 waves of enemies and then having a boss fight. Props to the game, you don't have to beat the game to see all the scenes. There is a timer that after two hours the content should unlock for viewing. While that is tempting, I don't need the scenes if the gameplay itself isn't going to make me enjoy the game.
lol titty suicide bomber
Hades but hentai and with only 1 hand. Nice rogue-lite game.
A 6/10 game. Humour isn't very good, but it's had me laugh a little from time to time. The meme cat boss got a good chortle. There's an effective timelimit for each match, which makes playing the summoner hand a bit stupid; you have to put most of your stats into strength no matter what hand you use. Curses need to be nerfed; my first one was one that randomly stunned my hand. And when I say randomly, it doesn't seem to have any kind of cooldown and the stuns could come in a row of six with not even a fraction of a second between them. If you get this, you can kiss your try goodbye because enemies will go into frenzy. All in all, it's a numbers game, nothing else. You ram your head against a wall until you can get enough permanent bonuses from the campfire to just breeze through. For what it is, a mouse-waving game with some nice illustrations, I'd recommend it; just play in Story Mode which is equivalent to normal mode. If you want an actual roguelite, I'd look somewhere else.
