About The Fall of Elena Temple

The Fall of Elena Temple is an old-school puzzle platformer in which you explore rooms, avoid perils and collect all coins to progress. The catch is you can undo your falls! So don't be afraid of heights, fall and collect the coins bellow, then undo back up to where you fell from, keeping the coins!

Test your forward thinking and logical skills. Plan your falls carefully, as your undos are limited. If you're not paying attention, you'll find yourself unable to restore back to the top, with coins still needing collecting!

Enjoy the retro aesthetics with monochrome pixel art, playing the game on the state of the art handheld GrimBoy (TM) (wink). Reminisce about the good times with lovely pixel art backgrounds to put you right back into your childhood bedroom, the backyard, the park, grandma's living and many more.

Features

  • 20 puzzle rooms to challenge your wits
  • 3 bonus rooms with new mechanics unlocked after you finish the game
  • Grab the undo crystal to enable going back up to five previous positions before falling
  • Collect all coins in a dungeon room to open the passage to the next one
  • Navigate through teleporters, locked doors, spikes, flying arrows, snakes, crumbling platforms and many more perils
  • Crack a smile at Elena's musings!

The game is well designed, it shows that the developer put a lot of passion into it. I enjoyed the music a lot and you will quickly learn the mechanics. The game is worth every penny!

Fun, bite-sized puzzle platformer that manages to sneak a surprising amount of mechanics into 23 single screen rooms.

More level design flexing, lovely! Great progression too, you learn the rules without realizing it. Update: this architect is very good, second thumb up!

Great game with plenty of neat and fun mechanics. The central undo mechanic is real cool and is used in a lot of interesting ways, and a certain other mechanic introduced later in the game had me going "Woah!" when I first started using it. In a good way, mind you. Levels/puzzles are well designed, and having to restart a room on account of screwing up never really felt that bad since once you know what to do traversal is very quick. One might not think a grid-based platformer would feel good to control, but that couldn't be further from the case here. Was a short game but definitely worth the asking price (though I think I got it on sale as I'm rather stingy). The game's length I actually found quite nice, as it never felt as if it was dragging on, or milking some secondary mechanic dry or what have you. Very glad I happened to get this one. T'was a splendid game which I'd recommend to anybody who likes puzzle platformers, retro styled games, and/or novel-feeling game mechanics.
