Fallen: Into the Darkness

This is for fans of difficult platformers, while i do enjoy some of them, this felt frustrating to the point where it wasn't fun.

i mean its not bad, the trailer displays the game for what it is. however the only thing i do not like about this game is that i am pretty convinced after playing for 24 minutes. that most of the time you start the game or begin a run, your seed for the map is literally impossible to not die and make it to the end. but i am still going to recommend this game because i know some people find the rng aspect fun. but for a die hard gamer i suppose you will not like the idea of relying on rng whether you win or lose and not being able to do anything about the outcome. but with that said this game would probably be beatable in 5 minutes for 99% of people if you aren't retarded, but with the rng of your seed deciding whether you're allowed to beat the game or not, it makes the game last much longer

"Fallen: Into the Darkness" is a rather mediocre experimental first person platformer with a simple, and frankly boring premise. It's less platforming and more controlled "falling" down a hole (at least they got the title right). I'm not sure if this is an asset flip, but it's one of those cases where the assets just look much better than the rest of the quality of the game... a glaring inconsistency. There's no evidence, but as always, the biggest problem with asset flips besides the plagiarism is the deplorably low quality of the other aspects of the game, and even if the game assets are genuinely created for the game, the quality of the rest of the game is indistinguishable from that of asset flips. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. There is no point in beating the game. It is difficult to make it to the bottom safely for no reward whatsoever. The narrator is annoying to listen to and the falling platforms do not give enough time to respond. I can definitely tell work went into this, but I do not think this is an enjoyable experience in its current state

Despite all odds I did enjoyed a lot Fallen: Into the Darkness and I didn't rage quit and uninstall it (as the developer suggests that we may be tempted to). Yes the game is hard, specially being it is a procedural generated platformed is impossible to memorise patterns to follow. But it was a really enjoyable experience that keep me busy for a few hours. I recommend to everyone. After all this is just a freebie! So grab it and support the developer!
