The gameplay is built around moving through a school environment and making survival focused decisions. I can barricade rooms, hide in lockers and move quietly while searching the building for the items required to progress. I liked that the mechanics are deliberately simple because the game is clearly trying to keep my attention on the situation rather than turning it into a conventional action game. The audio and atmosphere do most of the work. The school environment is intentionally ordinary, which makes the situation feel more uncomfortable.
