Using patch: You're Shun Kousaka, a 2nd year transfer student to a new school where you'll learn the pleasures of a co-ed education, especially guided by 3rd year student, Mahiru. And, tennis is worked into the story, along with char siu, gyoza, and the sweet and sour smell of a girl (someone needed a lunch break). Ready? First, adjust the BGM (Back Ground Music) setting lower. Other default sound settings are okay; however, you'll want to lower the music so you can hear the good kissing sounds when Mahiru gets going. Later, when the kissing evolves to more advanced forms of "kissing" the slurpy sounds become more like someone leaving the lid of the washing machine open - lots of sloshing around. Finally, in the most intense scenes in the Worst Ending scenarios, your dog may start howling - so, put the dog out. Second, for the first three hours, prepare yourself for sweet, s-o-o-o-o sweet. And, cute, don't forget cute. And peppy - Mahiru has a lot of pep. I liked it all and the story moves along through a lot of lovey-dovey for the first 2.5 hours. Honestly, I'm just glad to experience the work in its uncensored glory (external patch needed), as I've already read the original Japanese release, and I really like the character art by DekU. While the story is fairly run-of-the-mill for the genre, the game makes up for it with its presentation, length, and overall quality. It sets up the premise well and gets you invested in the characters before the real action starts. I only wish that (minor ending spoiler) [spoiler]the Happy Ending route was a bit longer and more meaningful.[/spoiler] Bonus points for including the original Japanese script (change via Steam: Game properties -> General -> Language) and being able to patch that version as well. While I didn't play the English version that much, the translation appeared to be a higher-quality effort than most similar releases. I would love to see more releases from this author in the future.
