About The Sand Man
“Shh...Keep quiet...
Don’t say anything.
You have nothing to worry about.
That’s just a monster growling...
The monster inside the closet.
Hehe.
Just kidding.
Alright then...
So you’re not sleepy yet, hm?
In that case, I’ll tell you a scary story.
It’s so scary you might not be able to take it.
It’s the story of the Sand Man...”
This is the second title in the Strange Man series, developed by Uri Games.
In The Sand Man, you play as Sophie Grundler, a girl suffering from Insomnia. Unable to sleep and exhausted, Sophie wanders into town to discover that everyone else has fallen asleep.
After attempting to wake those she knows, the true terror of her reality awakens and she must make the decision to save everyone.
Will she succeed with the exhaustion setting in?
In commemoration of the game's Steam release, achievements, and multi-language localization have been added.

i love uri games so muchhh. this one's certainly the "calmest" of the strange men series, which is appreciated after the crooked man in a way heh. love the sandman and sophie as leading characters1 found this helpful
Great storytelling and beautiful artwork. Toward the end of the game, the puzzles get a little boring, but the ending makes it all worth it.
IT'S DIFFERENT!? Dev took a diff approach No horror more emotion lol Last achievement is the hardest ( >>> Crooked imo) But it depends i kinda like this more due to its creativity
Pros: - Cute art style - Decent story Cons: - Not really a horror - Puzzles and exploration can be very obscure at times. When I got to the forest area, I had to constantly check the guide as it wasn’t very clear where to go or what to do Overall, the sand man is neither good nor bad. It’s okay for $3
Nice
"Their portraits shall be accompanied by blessings. May their lives be brilliant ones! May they be joyful in the light of day, and sleep peaceful in the dark of night!" Loved it. Really different from its crooked predecessor and really confusing at times, yet beautifully executed.
