The solider in the mine is an extremely short platformer game. This game is everything a platformer shouldn't be! One song throughout the whole game, the boxes slides alongside the character, you seemingly die when you touch some ceilings (???), the controls are so wonky and slow! A nightmarish experience to play through and $5 for 15 minutes of poor gameplay? That's just absurd. Overall, a low-quality platformer with horrible responsiveness.2 found this helpful
I absolutely cannot recommend 'The Soldier in the Mine.' This game is a mess from start to finish. The gameplay is plagued by spam and, unbelievably, the achievements are completely broken. You can actually unlock all of them without even completing the final level – how absurd is that? Beyond the ridiculous achievements, the controls are buggy and unresponsive, making the game incredibly frustrating to play. Visually, the graphics are also a major letdown, appearing low-quality and outdated. To top it all off, the game seems designed around tedious achievement farming, which completely detracts from any potential enjoyment. Honestly, 'The Soldier in the Mine' is just plain bad. Save your money and your time – there are far better games out there.2 found this helpful
