M2K is a free to play 2D top down retro pixel hybrid of Sokoban and a 2D top down shooter. Move around a 2D square grid, pushing various objects around and occasionally shooting stuff to complete each puzzle level. It's not the worst idea but the implementation is terrible, with the godawful LOVE 2D Lua game kit used to slap this mess together. As a result of this rather badly done engine, the game is highly unstable and crashes within moments of launching with a nasty main.lua number. I'm going to blame the engine, anyway, it's nicer than blaming the developer for not bothering to do adequate testing. If the game did work, which it doesn't, you'd be confronted by terrible 2D retro pixel "art", locked resolution and all that other stuff that comes from construction kit shovelware garbage. While the game is free, and that's noble, and there's an almost original concept, the quality is very poor and the game is simply too unstable and buggy to be taken seriously.16 found this helpful
