Actually a good horror game. This is a short piece, but it hits pretty hard within the hour-ish timeframe it lasts. Good plot, good voice acting (particularly Abigail's voice), atmosphere, and well placed scares. Can't really ask for much more. Not sure it's worth its asking price though, just because of its length. Definitely check out on sale though. 7.5/10 for what it is.3 found this helpful

Thoroughly enjoyed this one. A shorter game, but a fun one. Some decent jump scares. Not "on-rails", but definitely leads you around so you aren't wandering lost. Atmosphere and sound design is fantastic. Really nice Visuals too.1 found this helpful
The Wellmonts Case – is an unpredictable psychological, first person horror and investigation game that genuinely ticks most boxes as an indie title. Set on an eerie, abandoned farm where an entire family completely vanished without a trace in October of 1993. A decade after the police officially abandoned the bizarre investigation, the brother of one of the missing family members hires you, a private investigator, to reinvestigate the cold case. It succeeds through its uncomfortable, changing atmosphere, solid graphics and an impressive audio design with, creepy background music, ambient noises, and precise audio cues that amplify the tension. The writing is decent, the voice acting on some characters is more polished than others but the narrative and pacing is interestingly made and engaging. The first half of the game can be slowly paced which worked for me, as the plot gets messier and more disturbing the more you play. There's a couple clunky object targeting objectives which can be a problem with many indie horror games, its gameplay loop probably won't amaze anyone and it's not incredibly replayable, although, I always find enjoyment with watching a friend play through it. The game was very well done! Controls were smooth, the progression of the story was good and the jumpscares were VERY well placed.
