About There You Are
There You Are is an exploratory narrative game that features stop-motion-inspired graphic design and two endings from the player's choices and actions. In this game, the player will role-play the girl, Su, to deal with her father's relationship to move away from the past and accept the loss of her mom. While many games already touch on this type of topic to a certain extent, There You Are uses both storytelling methods and game design principles to exquisitely craft each story beat and depict an emotional bittersweet story.

Wow Although short this game gets its point across in such a short amount of time, This game is awfully short and wish it was longer more akin to games like Life is Strange genre, if expanded upon this game has a lot more potential to offer than what is here. The aesthetic style is very beautiful. This game leaves you wanting more and shocked how fast you can complete it, but for the price it makes sense, I could see how you could accomplish more in the story going into there backgrounds more, having the conflict with the [spoiler] girlfriend [/spoiler] game play and choices with branching paths based off the choices, even choices like the hold breath mechanic, I tested if you could hold your breath and die didn't happen but would a been interesting ending path given the choice to make such. Any-who I could see this game being added to a lot if only the Devs wanted to. Overall Lovely game short sweet story. Leaves you longing for more but unfortunately its just not long enough.5 found this helpful
I played with my 10y old daughter (she moved the girl with a gamepad, and I moved the camera with the mouse) and we both agreed the game has very beautiful graphics. We found the story touching, but (luckily) not too sad. It's not more than half an hour of gameplay, but it's a wonderful interactive story and we truly enjoyed it.
