This Time - Part One

Part One as its called died a long time ago, then someone else took up the reins, and ended part one, Part two is another purchase. I was kind of annoyed when this game died, but then to find out if I want to keep following the story I have to keep on paying per episode. Not for me, this is now being filed under dead and buried. enough is enough.

Great story

The game was really well made. its a really great story and a great suspense. I see this game a lot like reading a romantic thriller. I really hope the developer does see this because 2 things i didn't really care for were the fact you had all the names of the people prior to meeting them included with the fact they were color coded so even well prior to them introducing themselves into the game you really could guess who they were and having that takes away from that little bit of curiosity like "who is this person coming up to me". Also It was so much click to play and not really getting to personally be involved with the story itself. Even if you just put it on auto it really turns into more of a movie then a game. (((Side note: The skip button didn't work through out the game. Maybe it's just me because my computers been a little wacky with another game i like to play not letting me do one of the actions. Still I would ask you look into that just in case.))) For someone like myself (an individual with ADHD) I really have to be more involved to engage more. Having just finished the game, I can say that I am honestly looking forward to its continuance. The story takes the time-stop trope and actually manages not to make it as silly as it has been done before. This makes it far more of a special event than just having the character running round stopping time every other sentence in order to grope everything in a five mile radius. I would like to mention in particular that the writing is on a whole new level, not seen often in this genre. Not all the dialogue is punchy or witty, but especially the poetic quotes and several of the backstories are rather well written. This is very reminiscent of a film noir, it uses several of those traits to good effect in trying to explain a bunch of things which make it make sense at least. So this is definitely one to try if you are interested in AVN´s with a decent story which goes deeper (and darker, much much darker) than most others. Can´t wait to get the next chapters going as soon as they become available.
