About Tokyo Necro
Tokyo has become a snow-covered wasteland where the dead walk among the living. But in this frozen hellscape people have survived, protected by the guns and cybernetics enhancements of the Living Dead Stalkers.
Developed by Nitro Origin, creators of Song of Saya and Full Metal Daemon Muramasa, Tokyo NECRO dives into the cyberpunk genre and sets a new standard for action visual novels – with fully animated fight scenes and an interactive display where you can see every action your character takes through their own eyes!
In the future, the world has been engulfed in the bitter cold of an ice age. And yet, Tokyo is surviving with its use of geothermal heat pipes to keep the city habitable. Within this frozen city, So’un and Ethica make their living working for the Karasuzumi Living Dead Stalker Office; contract killers who spend their working days executing necromancers and their undead minions. On one such mission, they discover a mysterious girl who had been kidnapped by a necromancer for reasons unknown.

So'un just needed a footjob from Arby's and he would have been fine2 found this helpful
Great style and apocalyptic cyberpunk vibe Overall, it's a great game, but in my opinion, it could have been better if there were less “anime” moments2 found this helpful
first of all, GET THE PATCH ON JAST, DO NOT PLAY THE GAME WITH JUST THE STEAM VERSION AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LEAVE IRIA'S ROUTE FOR LAST BECAUSE IT'S INTRINSICALLY TIED TO THE TRUE ENDING AND PLAYING IT AT THE BEGINNING CAN BE A LITTLE BIT FRUSTRATING AND SPOIL THE ENTIRE PLOT TWIST. Also I'm assuming that people will play this optimally in this review and go mitsumi-con su-kiriri-iria With that being said, while I cannot call this game a masterpiece but it's almost there, like really close. The beginning of the game and the first route is relatively boring at certain parts, it does get better and better once you start your second route (honestly it's pretty interesting once you get past the first half of mitsumi's route), the major problem with the beginning of Tokyo necro is that a lot of the times it feels like the writting is just bullshitting with you, they throw terms and twists that seems to make no sense but are later explained properly if you read it in the right order, though I can understand those who dropped the game early on because yes it's frustrating but if you persevered until the last route this is one of the best productions from nitroplus, on top of having r…2 found this helpful
MITSUMIIIIIIN !!!!!!!!!!!
A must-play VN, especially for those who love sci-fi and action in their titles. I find the characters designs to be phenomenal. Not only do we have fantastic looking characters, they are extremely vivid with character in unique ways which definitely enhances the experience. In regards to dual-protagonist games, this has to be my favorite by far. Every character is extremely enjoyable and you can see all their personal flavor even in all the action scenes! Worldbuilding is incredibly strong with the game and the reader can definitely feel it's essence without even the visuals! It definitely helps wrap up the game into a incredibly sci-fi package, even though you'll see the typical sci-fi reader assumed jargon at play. Everything looks SO cool!!! Artwork is marvelous which is magnified by the character designs. Everything looks so evocative and exciting! I really did enjoy all the takes on the arsenal that you can find throughout the game. The music was also amazing to listen to throughout my playthrough! In regards to the writing, I find that the story is quite strong and for sure very engaging. Every route felt important for each different perspective and unique enough. I co…
