About Necrobarista

"This is a story about death and coffee."

Inspired equally by film and anime, Necrobarista is a unique take on the visual novel medium. Follow a dynamic and diverse cast of characters as they navigate Melbourne's hipstery coffee culture, the questionable ethics of necromancy, and the process of letting go.

Final Pour is the definitive edition of Necrobarista, bringing a year's worth of updates and enhancements to the table, as well as brand new features and stories:
 • Full cinematic recomposition in 1.85:1 aspect ratio, bringing a whole new perspective to the story.
 • Devil's Den: A new episode featuring Samantha kicking someone in the head.
 • Studio Mode: Compose your own shots, add dialogue, and tell stories using the same tools as us!
 • Doodle Mode: Remember those homicidal robots we mentioned before? Now you can draw faces on them! They're fine with it.
 • Three new additions to the soundtrack from Necrobarista music producer Jeremy Lim.

Other features:

 • Stylized, fully 3D cinematic presentation that draws from anime aesthetics.
 • Soundtrack by Kevin Penkin, BAFTA-nominated composer for Florence, Made in Abyss, and Norn9.
 • Delve into the world of the Terminal and fantasy Melbourne through free-roaming first-person scenes.
 • Featuring goon-sack robots, alchemical coffee, and Australian folk hero Ned Kelly.
 • Support for fourteen languages, including Korean, Arabic, and Russian.

"MORE ESPRESSO = LESS DEPRESSO" i always loved games with.. message, and guts to deliver it. the talos principle, tcoaal, gris, for example. I've played so much garbage like Titanfall 2
(yes i have a mouthful of spit for this game)
recently, that i truly forgot, how much a good game can mean to me. necrobarista is simply.. awesome. it was a VERY, VERY rare example of me enjoying vn, but.. this game is too good. besides being game with awesome camera angles (i've got DOZENS of screenshots), interesting cast/story/memories/side stories (yes i was grinding necrobarista), and AWESOME soundtrack.. it made me think about stuff. that's.. rare, really, maybe its just my thoughtless ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mind, yet, themes that necrobarista touches just feel close to me. especially side story about tuan and hannah, it was a pure cinema. this game just really, really warmed my heart. especially because of "nothing" by soft science in ost, i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love shoegaze. necrobarista DEFINITELY is one of my favourite games of all time. absolutely worth it. "i don't blame you. maybe one day soon i'll be able to stop blaming myself, too."

Necrobarista is a 3D visual novel. While my cup of tea are horror pixel rpg games, I enjoyed playing this one. Although, I'd wait for a sale, since I do not think the game is worth its full price of 17 euros. Overall, it's pretty much an okay game, 6/10. Just...it could have been fleshed out more. The story has great potential and it is visually charming, but that's about it. Meh game. Good for killing time and great if on sale.
