Toricky

It’s important not to judge a book by its cover, so let me be perfectly clear: Toricky does not look good. Toricky looks like a deviantArt profile transferred into the Unity engine. The colors are garish, the art is ugly, and half of the UI is mysteriously cut off at the edge. There’s no way around this. Toricky looks bad, and half the screen is mysteriously cut off. But let’s look past that. So the game looks bad, fine. Some of the greatest games of all time look bad. There’s a lot more to a game than that. The music, for example, is pretty nice, and the story is simple and silly, something about crystals and goddesses and pig pirates, and the game seemed to lay it on a bit thick for a game of this sort, but it’s inoffensive enough. Localization features dialogue such as: “It’s round?” “Indeed, it is… round.” It’s kind of endearing, frankly. As for the gameplay, Toricky is based around gathering “crystars”, these little collectible MacGuffins in lightbulbs that are scattered around the level. They usually require some exploration or some light puzzle solving to figure out. Crystars are used to open doors and advance the story. Each level has a multitude of crystars hidden inside …

I installed that game, just for fun - and i had some fun and I think I will keep on playing. Also looking forward to the next Update, lets see what that will bring with it. If you want some fun-gameplay, buy it :)

will be honest this game is made for hate it, a lot of repetive comments each time you try, really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.. i really tried cause well have good things but the pain of try again and again,.. without retry buttoms seeing all again, with horrible map traveler is horrible game. PD: yes is a game where only a good retry function without repetetive dialogue, and better water travel could be great... but put fish and teleports in places that are pain only for be a pain then have to say no...

Design is pretty good, but I didn't like the gameplay much.
